Why do I need to be recognized as a legal representative to access the Kube ESG Platform?
To ensure data integrity and security, only individuals who are officially registered as legal representatives of a company are able to enter the platform for the first log-in. Once the survey has been accessed for the first time by your company’s legal representative, access can be easily and seamlessly delegated to other team members through the platform.
How is my legal representative status verified?
The Kube ESG Platform checks your first and last name against the public records on data.be, which sources its information from the Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO).
What happens if I’m not recognized as a legal representative?
If you are not listed in data.be as a legal representative:
- You will receive an error message after login.
- You will be redirected to a dedicated information page explaining the issue.
- Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate to the Kube ESG Platform testing phase.
Can I still participate if I have a legal mandate within my company but I’m not listed in data.be?
Not during the testing phase. Internal mandates (e.g. proxies, delegated roles) are not visible in data.be and therefore cannot be verified automatically. Manual processing of such cases will only be available starting in October.
Can I submit documents to prove my legal status during the testing phase?
No, due to limited capacity, we are not accepting manual verifications or supporting document uploads during the summer test phase.
What if I know I should be listed but data.be is outdated?
Please note that updates in the KBO may take several weeks or months to appear on data.be. If your status is not up to date, you will unfortunately not be able to join the testing phase at this time.
Will manual verification be possible in the future?
Yes. Starting October, a manual verification process will be introduced, where users will be able to upload documents (e.g. official company publications, KBO extract) and request access through a separate procedure.
